Just confirmed that Mt. High West will be opening tomorrow (Thursday) to passholders only, and to the general public Friday-Sunday. Mammoth Opening Weekend

We headed up to Mammoth Mountain over the weekend to check out Opening Day, along with the new features.  To our surprise, 3 lifts were open, including Chair 23, which meant the top was open!  Cornice Bowl was incredibly fun, along with Chair 3 and Chair 1. Temps were warm, and the snow turned to dirt rather quickly, leading the officials to close the mountain down on Sunday, but hey, 3 days of riding in October?  We'll take it! ERG takes on LVSSR

So we decided late Friday, that a shotgun trip to Vegas to visit the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort was in order.  We got a group of 6 people, and headed out. A little over halfway there, we stopped at a rest stop, only to find Mountain High's own Mikey Radziwon and 32andBelow.com's Rob Barraza, along with our buddy who goes by "Buckweed" hanging out in the parking lot, who were also headed up to LVSSR.  So we joined forces. Mammoth Mtn. Park Update

Just got pictures in of what the guys of the Mammoth Unbound crew have been working on... and it's looking legit! New features include a donkey kink rainbow box, a new double barrel rainbow rail, re-vamped flat up flat/flat down flat rail, flat/up/flat/down/flat box (Can't wait!), Jump/QP boxes, and all the old rails have been re-vamped.
