Snow is finally falling! We recieved word that Loveland is getting close to being able to open.  They've been blowing NON STOP, with the exception of the past couple of days due to warmer weather, but they should be firing up the snow guns again, as they are expecting another cold spell shortly. Whistler has recieved SOME snow, but nothing significant. Mt. Hood, Oregon is getting dumped RIGHT NOW!  their webcams show the snow falling down, and we're keeping an eye on that for the latest. We headed up to Bear Mountain yesterday for the annual HDHR event.  What an EPIC day!  Scotty Vine, Jed Andersen, Zack Hale, Nick Sabayan, Ted Borland... EVERYONE was killing it! The setup was very creative.  Riders had 2 runs to choose from.  The first, a 5 foot acid drop into a 30 foot granite ledge, then a choice between a curve rail, or a jump into the 24 foot banked wallride, all which led into a spine box.  The second run, the down/flat/down kink rail into the Pyramid box let the riders show their skills on a more technical line. Mt High's new sig feature (named after Mt. High pro rider Cory Cronk) looks to be a very interesting, innovative feature.  The bonk is attached to a hydraulic, allowing the Faultline crew to adjust the height of the bonk. Yes, it's steep, and yes, it's oddly shaped, but we have a feeling that it's going to be a lot of fun.   The Feature will most likely be set up on a "cone" shaped mound of snow, allowing a smooth transition up the front of the feature, as well as a landing area off the back. BBMR is gearing up for their annual pre season HDHR event on Saturday, September 19th.  The event takes place at the main lodge at Big Bear Mountain Resort from 2pm until dark. Outdoor bar, BBQ, Fuel TV coverage, vendor booths, and pro riders throwing it down! The competition is invite only, so don't expect to get to strap in and take laps... hang out, have a drink, grab some food, and represent your inner epic-ness! Read More

We went to check out the Mt. High season pass party last weekend at the Vans Skate Park in Orange.  And just as we expected, it was a blast.  Tons of kids lining up to meet Mt. High pro riders Cory Cronk, Louie Vito, and the man of the night, Marc Frank Montoya.  MFM's new video "Hard To Earn", premiered, and this is one flick you need to see! Also in appearance were Miss Mountain High, the TechNine team,  Chris Bradshaw, the Couch Boys crew, and Faultline's own, Mikey Radziwon.
